Use objects that mean knowledge for you. Use ceramic objects with ornaments. Use candles, especially red candles.

Soft, light, comforting - are the best words to describe southwest direction in Traditional Feng Shui.

The Southwest corner of your bedroom or any given space - is the segment of your house where love reigns. Southwest governs the luck of love, romance, marriage and family happiness. The Southwest's color is pink or green and its element is Wood.

If you feel that your marriage needs reviving, activate south west direction immediately. Crystal is the primary element for the southwest section, so anything made with crystal is good. Placing a pair of crystal swans or mandarin ducks or a pair of anything in this section will activate and double love and romance (2 pillows, 2 night stands, 2 night lights).Luxuriant green plants with large leaves placed around the house bring good energy, but be careful about placing too much green in this corner.

Burn candles in the bedroom. According to Traditional Feng Shui rules, Fire is good for Earth. A pair of red or pink candles are especially good. You need to light the candles daily to have any influence on the Chi around them.

Do not use thorny or prickly plants here as they can cause arguments among family members. If you have a bathroom located in this section, place bagua mirror on the bathroom door, place chocolate/brown color rag and keep the door closed at all times with the toilet seat down.
